Default Resistance Band Help

Resistance bands...I looked at the sticky at the top and noticed that I need several different bands to do different workouts. I ordered this red bad from Amazon.com and they refer to it as "medium". Can a moderator or someone tell me the sizes I need in order to do which exercise? very heavy, heavy, medium, light...I was reading in that thread that not all colors mean the same thing and it goes by brand. I'm lost. Help!

Well you could use a variety of resistance bands to do the workouts. I'd suggest at least buying 3 - light, medium and hard. You may feel that you need to go up in resistance later on and buy harder bands but that should start you out. I think Mel's post is just a general guideline. If you need specifics on what she was talking about, I looked up BodyTrends and their color scheme.

Extra Heavy - Black
Heavy - Blue
Medium - Red
Light - Green
Extra Light - Yellow
