Sharmel, your attitude is amazing. I think your goal of enjoying a regular, traditional Thanksgiving is wonderful and you have all my positive energies continuing to head your way. You have gone through so much and it sounds like your are handling everything with as much grace as a person possibly could. Hang in there sweet thing, and vent away whenever you need to. You gotta get this stuff off your chest and this is the perfect place to do it.

Hi all! Sorry that I didn't research all of Sharmel's postings before posting my response -- my mistake -- I read her post and just like most people new to this specific forum, since she didn't specify that this was due to a previous WLS, I assumed that she had gone beyond the "considering WLS" to the "having WLS". I have heard of dodgy surgeons doing dodgy surgery on people, and was just a bit worried that there was someone in the support forum having WLS at her current weight, that's all. There was no criticism or judgement intended. As for your cancellation, THAT SUCKS. Totally. Please hang in there...

It''s amazing how simple pleasures of life that we took for granted, such as eating solid food, can mean so much! Sharmel I am sure that whatever your first bite is, it's going to be amazing!!
