Had to make a BIG choice!!
Hello again all!!! Well here's the short story....Music has always been my number one passion. Well, about a month ago, I entered a local competition that leads to a National talent competition in search of the newest country music singer. I got picked to compete out of 250 people!!!!! They chose 12 contestants and 3 alternates. I was one of the 12 chosen!!!!! They(radio station) called me and said that they loved my cd, so they want me to participate!!! OH MY DAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I never in a million years thought I would ever have an opportnity like this!!! Ok so here it is........the competition is scheduled four days AFTER my TT surgery!!!:o So, I was forced to make a decision.......my music, or the surgery. So, I have rescheduled my surgery for 3 more months from now. I have to do this competition!!! I will never know if I can make it or not, unless I try!!! I will still have the surgery, I just have to wait longer now. This was a hard decision for me. I have waited my entire life to show my music to the world. But I also have waited a very long time to have a flat tummy!! I weighed my options carefully. Took me a week to decide. I didnt want to feel like I "shoulda coulda woulda's" about my music. So, there it is. I am gonna compete in the contest, and do the TT later. Wish me luck!!!:^:
