6 Month Checkup
 

I went for my 6 month checkup on Monday. My doctor says I've lost more than he likes to see 6 months out but he's not concerned. All my bloodwork turned out ok. I just wanted to say thanks for all the support when I was stressing out about it.

Wowsers!!! I wish I couldve lost that much in 6 months!! It has taken me over a year to lose 83 lbs!! I am to the point where dieting stinks!! Its been SO long now that I want to quit, but I wont, hehehe but I want to, but I wont!! I think!! heheheeeee Congrats magi!! What a huge accomplishment!!

magi - don't sweat the 'too much weight loss' comments. it's not a big deal, as long as you're getting in what you need to. i lost 97 pounds in three months before the surgery [a long story], and by about 6 months after the surgery, i'd lost a total of 200 [so that's 200 in less than a year!]

just keep up the good work!!!!

Jiffy.. WOW .. that's amazing. Thanks to you folks I did quit worrying about it. Every once in while a little thought creaps in mind..what if I don't stop?
But I just kick that thought right out of my head. No need in borrowing trouble.

Leenie...really I lost 92 lbs in 6 months and 2 weeks. Ten of those lbs I lost the 2 weeks before surgery. But hey...who's counting ?!?! LOL Somehow I lost 10 the year before surgery. I had a hysterectomy that year. Maybe my ovaries weighed 10 lbs. What do I know?? (big grin) So that means I've lost 102 lbs in all !!! Wonders never cease !
This time last year I was dreading another summer with chafing thighs among other things. Now I'm thinking about buying some shorts !!
