New to 3 chicks
 

Hello everyone, I am new to 3chicks.

I am awaiting my time for the gastric bypass. I believe sometime in January (I don't think I want to have it before Christmas). I am very nervous. Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect?

Hi Debo71, welcome to 3FC! Please read the stickies on the forum and you'll find lots of information and personal experience. :) It's such a broad question, and everybody's experiences are different so you will probably find the most thorough information there.

hi debo - the lady in waiting! did you find what you need around here? there is a huge amount of information, but some of it may not apply to you. a lot depends on the kind of surgery you're having. lapband has different 'rules' than bypass, and duodenal switch has other rules.
