How did you all approach HR at your jobs about the surgery? I've been at mine less than a year and I'd like to have the surgery sooner than later
any input would be much appreciated!

All I did was fill out the needed paperwork for the surgery. They really do not need to have any further information then what is needed. Good Luck.

wish i could help you, kier. but unfortunately, i was out on disability at the time, and while i was on disability, the company went bankrupt. so i had to self-pay the insurance premium. at least, the only hassle i had then was with the insurance company!!!!!

Thanks for the input ladies I'm probably goign to postpone for a bit I'd feel more comfortable asking after I'd been here a few more months
