Just talked to Pookie's sister Nancy and Pookie is out of surgery and doing okay. There was a bit of a scare this morning as the doc said that he didn't think that he could do the hernia repair and the GBP at the same time, so they might just do the hernia repair. Needless to say that did not make out Pookie a happy camper, but as it turned out they did the Gastric by Pass and a little of the repair on the intestines, but not the whole thing, so she is probally looking to another surgery, but for today all is well!

KEEP US UPDATED! I am glad to here the gym hamster is doing so well.

Thursday: Just talked to Pookie's sister and she had just come back from the hopsital. Said Pookie is doing well, terribly sore, but looking good, and she is in a regular room and not ICU.
