Coincedentally, my DS is starting school in that area (Winter Park) later this month and we're heading down there on Wednesday -- hopefully there will be power in his new apartment! So I won't be around for your BIG DAY and am sending you all my love and best wishes early. Pookie -- my favorite Gym Hamster -- I know everything is going to go just fine for you and you'll be back here with us in no time at all. And there will be LESS OF YOU! :D

Pookie -- I found this story in the local Orlando paper about one of the shelters -- I wonder if there is where your mom is? If so, it sounds like she's in good hands. I hope you get to talk to her soon. :)

Glad your mom is safe, I'm sure it will all work out. My mother-in-law lives in Port Charlotte and had a tree go thru her roof, luckily she isnt home, they are in England on vacation, but what a mess to come home to!

I'm so glad your mom is safe. I'm so sorry I haven't replied before now. I've been working for the past several days. I hope she is able to go home soon.
