Talking Tooting my Own Horn!!
I had my gastric bypass on 3/1 and I weighed in on Monday and I lost a whopping 25 lbs. the first week!!! I was shocked to say the least. I'm sure it's because I'm still doing the liquid diet, but nice to have a good kickstart!

that's PHENOMENAL!!!!! most folks lose about 10 pounds the first week... i lost 18. you are FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!

I am feeling FANTABULOUS!! I never thought I would feel this great. I am starting my vitamins this week and am still on soft/mush diet. Just got finished with an Atkins shake which was pretty good. I have my first post op visit on Friday.

Edited to say:

Forgot to say that I also went back to work this week and haven't had any problems so far.

Dixie...Congratulations on that fabulous weight loss!!!!! I am glad to hear that you are feeling well!!!! I don't think I felt as well as you seem to be this soon after surgery!!!!! WTG!!!!!!
