I see the surgeon tomorrow
 

Hi all! I'm beginning to get a little nervous. I see the surgeon tomorrow at 3:00. My dh was supposed to go with me, but he got changed to second shift starting yesterday. I have no one that can go with me to ask questions and receive answers. (I am a firm believer that for any major medical procedures, two people make for better understanding). I printed out a list of questions from spotlighthealth.com and intend to ask a lot of those. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

In case you don't remember, this is a new program with only about 8 surgeries "under their belts". I do want to remain with this program (as long as I am comfortable with the surgeon's abilities).

Jiffy - You had sent me some suggestions when I first registered on this site. Unfortunately, I didn't get them printed before they disappeared.

Hopefully, after tomorrow, I will be able to post that I, too, have a date!!

andrea.. good luck tomorrow! have you thought about taking a tape recorder with you so that you can review the conversation with the surgeon as often as you like?

as for the 'disappeared' threadl.. it's not really gone, just buried., i bumped it up for you..
