Hello Everyone....
I know I haven't posted in awhile but I am back...
Aug 20th I had a Tummy Tuck. They took 17lbs of skin off my stomach. I had been having problems sleeping with all the skin and I would actually lay on it. Well the pain was actually caused by the 2 hernias they found during surgery. So now the insurance company is paying for my Tummy Tuck!! Woo Hoo.....
I had 368 stitches and the surgery took 5 hrs.
The recovery wasn't bad at all and yes, I would do it again!!
In Feb 04 I will see about the skin on my thighs and legs. I will use my Tummy Tuck money to have that done.

I hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for the Holiday season. It has been hectic for me, we bought a new house and we are trying to sell our current house. So I am constantly cleaning to be ready for showings at a moments notice this is a challenge since I have a 2 year old. I want to sell our house so bad and get moved!! Say a prayer...

Derby-girl who was your surgeon? Mine was Dr. Mark Shina. I am 6 months out from surgery.

Jburress where do you live?? I went to Dr. Gaar. I know several people who went to Dr. Shina. I used to work with Glenna in his office at Prudential Service Bureau, that was before she or I had WLS surgery. It's a small world.
How are you doing? 6 months post op you must be full of energy and flying high!
