new and confused
 

I can't believe i found this site, i have been going around and around with the surgery merry go round for a year. it's nice to find a site that has other people who know what i have been going through. just wish i knew how to use this site and how to start a journal. I'm a little fat person, alone on this ride, i would really like some friends to talk with. anyone out there?

Hi dtravler1, as a former AZ girl welcome to the site! I grew up in Ft. Huachuca. It's about an hour from Tucson. What a wonderful place to live. I had an Open RNY on June 10th. What surgery are you looking into? I haven't done the Journal on the site, so I can't help you much there, but I look forward to reading your posts and hope you post often. Welcome, this is a wonderful site and you'll never find a more friendly, supportive and knowledgeable group.

I am new here too. I have yet to start the journal either. I am waiting for insurance approval, for and lap RNY surgery. I will be in St Louis for surgery. Its the waiting for approval that gets me. Where are you at with your surgery?

Hi and welcome......from one Debbie to another. Actually you are all fairly new and I don't think I have welcomed any of you. So a great big welcome to each of you!

You are not alone on this journey, there are many, many of us out here.

I had my surgery in January of 2002. I'm so very glad I did it. I had a few problems following surgery, but even with the problems I would do it over agian.
