I never thought I’d reach this point, but I’m desperate. I can’t keep living in this body. Every day feels like a battle—physically, emotionally, mentally. I’ve struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember, and no matter how many diets, workout plans, or “lifestyle changes” I try, nothing sticks. The shame, the exhaustion, the constant self-loathing... it’s overwhelming.

I had the vertical sleeve surgery in the US in 2016. The recovery process was no fun, but manageable. I lost 60 pounds relatively easily and that brought me down to 210. My top weight before the surgery was 295. About a year after the surgery I stalled for a year and then over the next 5 years I regained it all back. The weight gain continued until I hit 334. I started taking Wegovy on May 4th and I have lost 17pounds in 2 months. In hindsight, I regret the surgery but in 2016 GLP-1 drugs didn't exist and I felt I didn't have any better options.
