Thank you for your responses to my thread about whether or not to call in the Grandmas. I've been following the threads about your post-surgery "adventures", too. Which procedure did you have? RNY or band? Open or lap?

All three :rolleyes: were lap-rny, well only the first was the rny. The second was the leak repair and the third was to see if I had another leak.

I agree with peachie........call in the "big guns."

I had the lap rny, hodegard. I am not sure that I would have done the open. When the cardiologist came to see me he asked if he could look at my incisions. He said they look like "buck shots" :lol:

They are ugly little things, but what the hey, I won't be wearing a bikini in this life time any way. (although my friend made me a basket an brought it to me in the hospital and her dh gave me a thong!) ROFL I saw him two nights ago and thanked him and he asked if I would be wearing it around Christmas time. I told him that I would wear it tomorrow. I have no pride.

Peach you are giving me so much encourgement. To think that you are thinking of cleaning the family room :smug: says wonders to me. please let me know if you actualy do it. I am planning to go to a convention 18 days after my surgery, as long as everything goes ok. Thanks for posting. Love Marsha :strong:
