I also used to do daily weigh-ins but I realized I would get obsessive about any weight gain and would starve myself for that day just to see the scale go down...but because I'd be starving myself, that would sometimes backfire and I'd binge leading to weigh gain, self-loathing, and thus begins the cycle again...

Haha, yeah so I weigh in a couple of times of week (max 3 time) but only record my weight weekly. I find it helps me not obsess so much about every little thing I put in my mouth and has lead to better consistency (yay! I've logged into myfitnesspal for 60 days straight!).

I weigh daily and record my weight once in awhile when I noticed it has gone down four or five pounds.

I still weight myself the same time every day ONCE a day AND I also use Trend weight. It links into my fitbit account and has a "Trend" so that even if you weigh yourself and you gain you could still be trending down.

Here is MY trendweight to show you what I am talking about. So in some cases I don't mind gaining the next day because on the curve I am still heading towards my goal

I can post the link because I need to make 8 more posts. I will show you when I have reached that point

I am only 8wks post surgery so I weigh every day. Sometimes twice a day. If I put in a extra hard exercise day I will check again.

I weigh myself once a week. It can become a bad habit if you do it too often and start worrying about small fluctuations that are totally normal for our bodies to go through. I have to be careful because of my history with disordered eating and obsessing over numbers. At my worst I probably stepped on the scale 3-4 times a day.

I weigh every morning, just makes me feel more in control knowing my weight each day.

I weigh daily, first thing in the morning. But just once, so I don't think I'm overly neurotic.

I don't weigh myself at all. I know how I'm doing by how my clothes fit and my energy level. I'm trying to free myself of obsessions - and the number on the scale is (for me) so emotionally loaded that I find it's better to judge how I'm doing with the way I feel. Besides, if the number is too high, what am I going to do, take one fewer bites of yogurt?? Just trying to focus on doing the best I can each day.

I find myself being scared to get on the scale, which means I *KNOW* I've done some things that are not on plan and I need to snap out of it! Ideally I should be checking once a week.
