Questions for those who have had surgery
 

Hi,

My name is Laurnen Heno and I am a student at the university of Portsmouth, England. For my final year dissertation I am focusing on surgery, how it is funded, and its portrayal in the press.

Alongside my dissertation I am also writing 4 articles, one of which is on weight loss surgery. The article will be looking into the funding of the surgery comparing NHS to private. It will also be looking into the privatisation of surgery, malpractice, the checks that need to be carried out before hand, and who makes the decisions about whether someone gets surgery on the NHS.

I was just wondering if anyone who has had surgery, would be happy to answer a few questions on their experience, the support they were given throughout the process.
