I wanted to stop in and say. Hi I have heard some great things regarding this forum. I am in the work up process for Bypass, looking to me early next month. I was just hoping to meet some others who have bee down this road and would be willing to share. I'm pretty nervous

Welcome! Being nervous is normal but, as long as your confident in your choice, the nerves are ok ;)

Ask lots of questions... there are some pretty smart people around

Thanks for the reply. I'm nervous but I'm confiden. I know this is going to be the best thing forme and my wife. Pretty much Dr's opinion is if I don't I got maybe 10-15 years, kind of sad since I'm only 39 going on 40. But I have to many health issues this can help. I know it is just a tool, but I think it's a tool I have to have.

are you and your wife having surgery together? what made you decide on the bypass? not saying it's a bad choice at all - just that I'm always interested in why a person chooses one type over another. have you finished most of your hoop jumping? how'd it go??
