Feel free to continue the debate about WLS vs the old fashioned way, BUT DO IT IN A DIFFERENT FORUM.

If someone who's contemplating surgery is interested in the debate, he or she will find it in the forum. But, people who are truly looking for information on which to make a decision are not helped by posts like yours.
