today's the day! how are YOU?????

Today was the day. I had a medium hiatal hernia so they corrected that during surgery. I have to say I remember more difficulty after my gall bladder surgery than I've had so far with this one. I had chills, couldn't get warm...but with this surgery it was fine. I suppose that's the difference between removing an organ and placing an implant.

My mom is spending the night at my house tonight. I just feel so happy that its done :) I've been waiting so long.

I've done 5 pre-op videos on you tube and plan to chart my progress (or struggles) there as well. I think it will help me be accountable. Also to remind me how far I've come so far. If anything, I was never nervous and now I feel relieved that it's done. Quite happy and satisfied so far and definitely looking forward to what comes next in my weight loss journey :D

wow. in and out - same day surgery! glad your mom is staying with you. take it easy - and take the time you need to heal.
