I am so excited, I don't even know where to begin. I got my LB surgery date of December 8th. I have done my pre-op, all systems are go. I have bought several different kinds of protein drinks, got my Flintstone chewables (twice a day), and I so ready! I am looking forward to the continued changes I am making in my life this year. I quit smoking after too many years to name, I really am embarassed to say when I started. It was tough, but I used Chantix, and I didn't have such a hard time. Sooo, I figure if I can kick nicotine, which they say is like kicking a heroine habit, I can use this lap band to help me achieve my weight loss goals. Which is a whole other thread...:carrot:

wow. just WOW!!! you are certainly on a life-changing path these days! can you send some of that energy my way?? December 8th is just - umm about 2 weeks away!

Thank you INVU! all is well! I am down 19lbs since my surgery on the 8th! How about yourself. I see you are down 35 lbs! WOW!

I enjoyed my Christmas, even though I couldn't eat all the things on the table, my mom and I made things that I could eat and I bellied up to the table with my baby spoon and bread plate and took thirty minutes to eat my food just like I have been training myself to do.

I have moved on to stage 3, small cut up food. I had steak and well cooked aspargus for dinner last night and enjoyed every tiny bite I took. Chew chew chew, sometimes I fell like a cow chewing her cud, but if that is what I have to do, that is what I will do from here on out.
