I will make a few posts to get to 20 today! Have you tried calling the Surgeon's office again about the seminar? I know I would hate waiting & would keep pestering them! :D

disneyfan- i called them last week to make sure they received my application packet. they said it's under review. once that's done they will call me with a seminar time..

the office called me today my seminar appointment is wednesday night! after that i get scheduled for the psych appt...the ball is rolling!

Seminar went well. Psych appt nov 1st...the only thing is the surgeon prefers to do bands on patients close to 45 bmi...im 52...

he PREFERS to do bands on lower BMI patients - but does that mean he WON'T do one for you? or that he would recommend something different? and why?

Ya im not sure. The nurse said he might want me to lose more than the usual 5% goal but that's up to him. I'm not discouraged or anything i'm gonna truck along :)

ok that appointments done. i was quite unsettled with some untrue items in my medical history from 10 years ago..i'm waiting for a call back from my doctors nurse because it makes me look really bad. i have my appt with the dietician and surgeon on dec 12...

wow - that's quite a statement that there are untrue things in your medical record. hope that all gets straightened out soon. other than that, how was the psych appt? are you feeling more hopeful? less hopeful? more confident?
