Hi! I'm Catherine. I just got started on my weight loss 'journey', but I'm pretty confused about the weekly weight checks. The paper I got says that a weekly check is required from now until my surgery. I also got a chart to record my weight. Do I have to show up at the weight management center to weigh in or can I do it at home? I'm asking because it's kind of a long drive and I don't think my mother (she drives) can take time out of work every week to weigh in since it looks like they're closed on weekends. Hope to get an answer soon!

Hi Catherine! short answer - i have no idea. but the CWM probably knows - and maybe your insurance company does as well. if they do require that you actually show up, maybe you could cut a deal with them so that a 'third party' [like your mother] actually enters and verifies your weight so that you could go in maybe every other week or once a month.
