Consult-getting band
 

I had my consult at the surgeons office today and I'm going to proceed with getting gastric band surgery. I still need to do the psych consult. But I'm really looking forward to getting it all done and moving on with my life. I lost my father to pancreatic cancer last month and my baby daughter is 9 months old. I really need to get a grip on my life and finally live it.
Looking for any support from other Banders!

not a bander but support I can do! Good luck and be dogged and presistant! You're right, it's your life and you have to find some way to live it and live it well!

oh honey - you've had quite a lot of changes recently - many sympathies on the loss of your father.

we're here for ya, darlin! congrats on making a decision! that's often the hardest part.

what's next for you in this process?

Thanks for the support. Well my next step is the psych eval which I'm nervous about. But then they should start trying to go through approval with insurance I have 2 insurances so hopefully that all goes well.
