Call the doctor??? Of course not, that would be the sensible thing to do!!!

He called to make the apt with the specialist and the first date he could get was Sept 9 . I called his PCP and and talked to his nurse and told her about the call to the specialist and aske her what he should do in the meantime while he is waiting for the apt. She said that Sept 9th was not acceptible and that he needs to see the specialist before that. she is calling the specilaists office and talking to them to try to get his appt moved up. She is suppose to call me tomorrow to let me know what they say.

He did eat some ham with the potato salad, and did stayed down, no dumping.

barb, you certainly have your hands full... good thing you called the PCP, now if only you could get them to actually TALK with you and alvin about what he's supposed to do in the meantime.
