Hi all. I'm a 22 year old mommy to the cutest 6 mth old boy you've ever seen. I'm going to the doctor on the 1st to talk to her about WLS. I need to drop 160 pounds. I work for two physicians and have spoke to them about it and they agree that I am a good candidate. I'm a little scared to start this journey but I can't wait until I can get down and have the energy to play with my little guy. I've been lurking and love reading all your posts. It seems like such a supportive board.

hoosiers???? we LOVE hoosiers - my mom was one. we still have relatives out there.

anyhoo - welcome aboard! and please do your homework by researching and asking Qs. i'm sure the docs you work with will have some insight, as well. and feel free to print out anything you find here and take it to your doc if you think it's worth discussing.

we're a nice bunch of folks, but be warned!!! none of us view this as the easy way out. all of us have come to this decision through a lot of pain and research, and we KNOW [the hard way!] that WLS of any kind is a TOOL. and that we have to do the rest of the work.

and that's what we do around here - help each other do the right thing.
