At War With Carbs! Nov. 3 to eternity!

It is so easy for those little devils to sneak in and take over at my meals. Healthy things, like fruit and vegetables are carb sneakers. It is easy for me to forget to eat the protein first and the carbs later. SO, I'm taking a cue from KO, because I'm nervous about my carb passion for the last two weeks. I haven't gained or lost, but just feel the sneaky little buggers making a come-back! Hand full of baked chips, couple of cheese crackers here or there, oats in the morning and no protein until lunch, just one more bite of cheese before returned to frig, etc. Now I know that you need carbs to live, but I glory in them! I want to be able to eat bread, but WHY!!! Because peanut butter doesn't go well with a piece of lettuce! LOL!

Two turkey sausages with over easy egg. Really wanted pumpkin oats and fruit
Low carb hot chocolate, but really wanted chai tea with 12 carbs.

PROTEIN FIRST; GOOD QUALITY CARBS SECOND!!!!! I think I'm going to have that tatooed on my forehead and forearms.

You all have a good proteiny day!

P.S. Chicken still hates me!! LOL!!!

chicken isn't my friend, either. and turkey is even worse [deli turkey is OK, but i have trouble with the real thing]

a CHAI TIP: do you know that you can find chai in TEA BAGS? honest! it's a blend of tea with spices. and some companies - celestial seasonings, bigelow, and good earth, to name a few - actually package it all up into a nice box of tea bags.

so, all ya gotta do is boil the water, dunk the tea bag, and add whatever milk product/sweetener you want, and VOILA!!!!!! you don't have to deal with all that STUFF they put in those powdered blends.

and PS although PB really doesn't go with lettuce, it DOES go nicely with cucumber! and with celery - but i like cucumbers better.

I never thought about pb on cucumbers! I despise celery, so that would be a great alternative--thanks!
