finally-good news
 

I haven't posted in a while because I was stuck in insurance limbo. I started this journey in February and after several insurance delays I'm finally approved for lapband surgery! My date is Dec. 10. I've also managed to lose a few pounds over the summer on my own.

I'm getting pretty excited and am starting to think things like "even though I could use some new pants for work, I may as well just stick with what I have for now..."

I'll be on the losers bench in a month and a half!:carrot:

I know how much insurance can be a pain. I've been in limbo with mine for the past couple because work messed up.

Oh, I'm so happy for you. I've been wondering about everyone who has had WLS the past few months or are in insurance limbo. Thanks for the up-date. I can think of a few more who I'd like to hear a report from. It know it is tough, bet let us all know how you are doing. Because I'm an old dog, I never want to speed time up, but for you Merry Terry and others waiting...........

oh terry!!! that's around the corner!!!! congratulations... and YES, hold off on buying new clothes! i'll bet the January sales will be VERY GOOD for you [but remember - buy only a few pieces - they'll be falling off you very quickly.]
