A question....a catch-up and sharing a worry

 I wrote out this HUGE post asking about everyone and it's gone....:( Where do they go????

How has everyone been? I'm doing well and I hope that everyone else is also in good health and spirits.

I have a question for the ladies and gents that are about 8 months out. Do you find that you can eat more now? I am still eating 2oz of protein but I now can add some more veggies and fruit to have a total of 3-4 ounces per meal and I'm still not getting that "full" feeling. I know that the Dr. told me that I really shouldn't have that "full" feeling...he says if you get that feeling that you have eatin too much. I know that things relax a bit and I'm guessing this is what's going on???? What do you think???

As I said I'm 8 months out. I started out at 350 and I'm right around 220 give or take a pound or two. You know how us ladies hold onto water..... I feel great but I do tend to worry that I won't reach my goal of 180. I know that probably sounds silly especially with the progress that I've made but I'm being serious. I am stressed about it. I talked to my NUT to make sure that I'm eating correctly and she said that I'm doing things correctly and that I just need to stick to what I'm doing.

Worrying about what I eat and not getting that "full" feeling are what bothers me the most. That and the scale is stuck. I really hate when that happens. I know that I'm getting smaller...I feel smaller but that stupid number on the scale isn't movin'....!! I know I should put the scale away....but I won't. I did get out the tape measure and I've lost inches and that does make me feel better...really it does!!

So, how is everyone doing???? Let me know so I can play catch-up!!

Oh, I changed my profile pic. I set a goal for myself to fit into the shirt (xl) and the jeans (18) on my wedding anniversary and I did it!!! So I thought I'd change my pic. You might be asking yourself...."what's that blue mark on Chrissys face"...and I'll tell you....."I dunno it's only on that pic.."

Off I go to work, work, work!!

Blessings to everyone,

Chrissy

LOOKIE AT YOU !!! You look great Chrissy, WTG :bravo:

Forgive me but I can't remember if you had GBP or Lapband? I can answer for the LB. Yes, you get hungrier as time goes by. As you lose weight your innards ( love that word ) shrink making the band not so tight so food goes down easier and you eat more.

HI CHRISSY!!!!!! So glad to hear from you!

Funny thing is, I have to say that your story, your worries, your trouble with the scale not changing, the worry that you might not get to goal......ME TOOOOO!!!!!!! I am 8 months out also and am feeling the same ways. Must be more normal then I was thinking. :D

I can eat about 3/4 cup over all, protein and all the extras counted. I track my food regularly and see that i am eating on a good day about 1000 sometimes 1200 cals a day. My weight loss is slower but still happening according to the measuring tape, my clothes and sometimes the scale. Bl**dy scale!

Again, good to hear from you and I hope everyone chimes in!

Angela
