One year VSG surgiversary
My one year surgiversary for my vertical sleeve gastrectomy was Saturday. I am so happy that I made the decision to have the surgery. My life has improved in many ways. I truly believe that this tool will allow me to live a healthier and longer life. If you want to hear more about it I posted on my blog...
Shrinking Pamelalala VSG rocks! |

Awesome! I get sort of excited when I see a story from someone who had WLS other than a band or RNY (not that I have anything against either of them--they've worked for many people!).

Congrats!!!
It must feel great! Congratulations to you! I can hardly wait til my surgiversary!!!
Best wishes Cheryl |
Tropigal: I'm so excited for you. I do know how much you life can improve with WLS. And your stepdaughter also. YIPEE!!! I'm still making your One-minute Flax Muffin quite regularly. I don't know a lot about VSG, but is nice that you have done so well with it; please keep us informed because WLS saves peoples lives, no matter what kind! A salute to you and your SD!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: Happy S-day to you! Happy S-day to you! Happy S-day to you! Happy S-day to you! I got the chance to talk to the first person I've met that has had the VSG tonight at the support group! He's lost more then 100 of the 400 he wants to lose! But he is to turn it into a RNY (sorry to say Jillybean) when he reaches 200lbs lost and it's safer. The sleeve is going to get him to a BMI that will allow him to have the revision. I was very glad to met him and several of the wonderful, compassionate people there. This group is real gem...there are so many people at there that I just wanted to hug...such angels! OH!! And I love your NUNBERS! Honey, you are inspiring! Angela |

From what he was talking about last night, the revision is a simple one involving only a minor change to the existing pouch created in the VSG and the duodenum change. though he could explain it far more thoroughly then I.
I find this interesting too jillybean...love to watch the surgery shows that do these procedures...Fascinating stuff! I saw the RNY, DS and lapband surgeries many times before I actually had the RNY. Angela |
Congratulations to you.I am really happy for you.
