Strap yourself in for the ride of your life. No fooling this was such an emotional rollercoaster for me....I would do it all over again though!!

I asked all about how long my surgeon had been doing these surgeries and why he chose bariatrics. I flat out asked him if he'd had any patients die and about the eating stages after surgery (all surgeons are different). I asked what tubes and goodies I'd have in my body once I woke up.

There is also a place on OH (though I am not a huge fan of that board) where people give reviews on their surgeons. See if yours is there and read what others have to say about him/her. More than anything else in the world, I wanted to have complete and utter faith in my doc!
