exercising 3 weeks after surgery
I am soooo proud to be back to doing what I was doing before surgery! Now, you have to understand I was an athlete before surgery. A fat athlete but an athlete none the less! :D
I am through to the otherside of surgery now and I have been working my way up to 2 miles of fast walking, 20 minutes on the eliptacal machine and 25 minutes of weight lifting (not more then 10lbs at a time yet because of the ban on lifting more then 30 lbs. It feels wonderful to move again and now it's easier then it has been in years and I have only lost 24 lbs! Can't imagine how it's going to feel in another month! Yesterday, I joined a walking club! We went 8.6 miles on a flat route and in 2weeks they are heading up the foothills for climb up 13 miles of trails! Think I might need a leg transplant! LOL But I will be back next week! I feel good! Your numbers look fab too! :woohoo:
I so wish I had someone to do things with. My daughter is wonderful but as soon as her honey is back from Basic, she's out of here! LOL Don't blame her but then I will be back to going to the gym alone. Well, for now anyway, I feel so good, I'm attracting attention. I think it's more to do with energy and confidence. Wish me luck! Good luck with the fill! Though I know how the process goes, I wonder what it's like? Angela  |
