anybody know the nut info. the internet includes the bread so i cant see how much of what is in it. just wondering. thanks for any help.
According to the book Eat this, not that! by David Zinczenko
The subway tuna is a no good choice. 530Calories, 31 g fat, 1,010 sodium, but i think that includes the roll too...
I got on the website and the tuna is listed at 530 calories for a 6 inch. Their white bread has 220 calories. I assume the sandwich is without cheese. So my guess would be 310 calories.
Just the tuna salad is different though...according to fitday.com Tuna salad with regular mayo is..
serving .75 cup..., cals. 222, fat 8, carb 12, protein 22

maybe do a breadless turkey sub?
Ugh... I don't know about nutritional info... but I can tell you something else about SUbway Tuna...
My sister used to work at TWO different subways--- and she would tell everyone she knew NOT to eat the mayo-based meats. She says they are made WELL in advance, not always kept super cold, and probably aren't the freshest things to eat there. UGH. She says she's seen the tuna made a week or more before and still sitting in the tub. UGH GROSS.
She LOVED subway, mind you--- she wasn't trying to knock her company. She'd just seen the SAME habits at two different ones and didn't want to see her friends and family have bad stomach problems from eating rotten tuna...
my two cents about tuna salad in general: don't do it! unless YOU KNOW exactly how much mayo is in there, DON'T EAT IT!!!!
once we have surgery, there's no way we can eat an entire tuna sub, even without the bread. but the mayo can kill ya!!!!
i got them to put it in the salad (just lettuce and banana peppers but i didnt know if that was a quick lunch or a stupid one. i think it might be better for me to just make my own. i wasted most of it anyway. thanks girls
Well you already did this but I dont trust anyones tuna besides my family. I just cant play with mayo when it comes to things like tune, macaroni salad, potato salad etc. You never know what other people put in there or if it was sitting out for awhile.
I worked at Subway and for starters the tuna is packed in oil. Also there is like a bag of mayo mixed with it. I'm not a tuna fan to begin with, but I don't think it can be that healthy with all of that oil in one place!!!!
