Oranges GRRR

I love oranges I love orange flavor Orange Pops you get the gist. Pre surg I could eat them with a little sensitivity. . .my cheeks would turn pink. Now I eat them or rather ate them the other day and today. My blood sugar dropped like a lead balloon and I'm breaking out itching all over and basically would unzip my skin if I could.
Needless to say I won't be eating them again and I have to foist them off on someone else. Did any of you notice that things you were allergic to or sensitive too became more aggressive?
Thanks
Kierie

kier, honey, this stronger reaction MIGHT be because you haven't eaten oranges for awhile OR maybe there was more of the trigger in the piece of fruit you ate.

allergies are funny things - they tend to get worse over time, with each repeated challenge.

that's why i have to carry an epi pen when i hike with the dog in the summer - every time she digs up a yellow jacket nest, she gets bitten. i go to help her and i get bitten too. problem is, she doesn't get an anaphylactic reaction that lands her in the ER!!!! I DO!!!!! and they're getting worse with each sting.

soooo, be careful, darlin!

I love oranges!

I'm sorry about your reaction to oranges! Man I love those thing, but I haven't had the guts to try them yet. I'm eating my first micro-pieces of celery today and am anxious to see how they settle.

I just start take allergy shots again every week for stupid mold after 10 years! My reaction to mold has gotten worse over the years and I have constant ear infections and I've been fending off having to get tubes for my ears for the last five years. I'm 56 for crying out loud, only babies get tubes in their years!!! LOL!

How has your fibromyalgia been doing? My niece called me and she is 26 y/o and is having such a bout with it right now she is almost incapacitated with it. She just got her Masters in teaching in December and she has three jobs right now and by sheer will she functions, but collapses in the evenings and can hardly get out of bed. THey just started her on lyrica so I'm hoping it will help the poor thing!

Hope you are all better by now!!
