And please feel free to tell me to shut the he*l up if this has already been attempted or whatever.
It would kind of be nice if we were able to have a system set up, so that when someone has their surgery date, there is someone able to report to the board that the person came through surgery okay, etc. Maybe a case where the individual having surgery lets a friend of theirs know that once the surgery is over and said friend has the results, that friend could email someone here, who could in turn post an update or something like that. I know that there is A LOT going on pre-op and that this may not always be feasible. I'm just sitting here anxiously waiting to hear about our two gals this week :dizzy: |
yeah, kim. you're right. we're not all that organised, though. in general, we try to ask people to have someone post for them, but with people being discharged after only a day or two, there's often not time for that. so, for right now, we just REALLY TRY to put in a thread, hoping that the surgery person will see it and report in.
sometimes this group is like herding cats [and i've never understood why ANYONE would want to herd a cat - mine have always done exactly what they wanted!!!] |
