Walking or running?!!
 

Linda, hope you are doing well this Sunday morning. Are you walking or running yet? LOL! I just hope you able to get up and move around without too much pain. How is the food going? How is DD handling things? How is your protein and water intake going? Have you been able to get outside a little? Is your DH done with the seeding? They are taking corn and beans off like crazy around here and the back roads are full of tractors, trucks, and Amish buggies. This is a bad time of the year for my allergies (mold), but I'll be glad when the corn is down, I feel like I've been living on an isolated island surrounded by corn. My grandkids got me a "gripper" or a "grabber" whatever you want to call it so after surgery I won't have to try and bend over to pick stuff off the floor. So far I have used it for the missed Lincoln Logs. Take care of yourself.

Hi girls, Well, im getting better everyday. Had first check up and pulled drained and and all put back together. my biggest problem is weakness but im working on that i walk the house which is a large house but not outside yet. Its been ten days since surgery , so i know it will all come together soon.. Ive had no problems at all, hurrah!!!! a little uncomfortable trying to sleep with the tube etc but that was it.. lost 31 pounds first ten days.. and getting all my drinks in etc. Hubby has been hubby and im glad hes still at farm, not sure how i will handle that later....
Let me hear how youve all been and what your doing.... any new tricks of the trade???? new recipes??? linda

Hey Linda. haven't been on here in awhile. Just wanted to say hi. Glad to hear your doing well. I was really weak for about 2 weeks after surgery too. I have good days and bad ones. Friday I was throwing up alot, saturday was good no throwing up and then Sunday throwing up all day. Today i was doing good till the afternoon and spent about 3 hours throwing up. Not eatting much at all. I've called the doctor and he says just to go back to fluids and take it easy. I'm down 72 pounds....but 40 of that was before surgery. If you have any advise please tell me. I would love to hear from you. Your friend Tracey
