Starting Date of Weight loss Journey: I don't remember a time when I was trying to lose weight

Starting Weight/Present Weight: 348

Goal Weight: Not sure what my ideal wight is, I'm thinking 120-130

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weight loss: Those times I want to devour a double cheeseburger and the motivation to exercise

Following any specific plan: Just trying to eat better, suck in a ton of information, and waiting for my first informational meeting

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: More scary, because it is truly a whole new way. I cannot cheat. Can't just start over tomorrow.

Anything else you would like to share with us: I just want to learn from others who have been through this

nice to meet you! wow - homeschooling your kids. that's a brave thing to do! talk to FlourGirl - she homeschools her boys - ALL OF THEM! it's amazing that she can talk straight!

Michelle, I forgot to tell you in my other post. I had my gastric bypass (RNY) 23 days ago. So I'm fairly new to this type of weight loss and everyday is a new journey.

Nice to see a new person coming out to play with us! I'm not on everyday so I'm a little late with my greeting!

I also homeschool my boys. Last year we did send two of them to a private school and they will be going back there this coming school year and taking another one of their brothers with them. I'll only have the two younger ones at home with me then....I'll feel sort of normal;) Yes, homeschooling five boys was an adventure and of course the reason my sanity is no longer intact.....you'll learn more about me later!!

I am jumping through the insurance hoops right now and doing my six month "diet"....I'm having a hard time eating all the starches that my 'nut' wants me to eat....yet another story!! LOL!!

If you have any question about homeschool you can PM me. Like I said I don't come on everyday but I do try to read the board at least three times a week....I have to stay in touch:hug:
