Have any of you guys been able to eat it? Or does it have a rice effect gassy uncomfy?
I'm just doing my groceries at Peapod and I wanted a grain for DH poor guy has been eating like a WLS patient (except when he's not with me)

Sorry KO, can't help you with this one. I know alot of LB people can't eat rice but yours truly can. I'm curious to hear what the GBP folks say. I love cous cous :D

LOVE couscous, but i couldn't eat it for awhile because of the rice effect. i found that i did better with stuff that has to be chewed, like brown rice or barley.

I tried brown rice tonight and was fine Till I stood up and had every bodies favorite thing Gas that won't come out YAY so I think I'll chill on the grain a bit

FYI, coucous is pasta. It is made from semolina flour, just like every other pasta. I wouldn't compare it to rice because even though it is as small as rice, it still swells just like spaghetti noodles.
