Anyone else in the Denver area?

Hi, I am new here... I am going to my consultation appt on Thurs to learn about lap band. I am 28, mom to 3 kiddos (ages 5,3,1) and stepmom to a 14 yr old as well. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. I am nervous about Thursday, I am anxious to find out how much I have to pay out of pocket and financing and all that. I currently weigh 250 and can't seem to lose any on a "diet". I think the lapband would be a good tool to help.

Welcome to this forum, you will find that everyone here is very helpful!! I haven't done my surgery here, but I recently moved to Colorado, and I heard of a Doctor in Greely who does bariatric surgery, if you want his name I would send it to you, but I am guessing you picked up a surgeon already since you have an appointment

Don't be nervous, just go over all aspects of the surgery on that appointment to be in the light. Personally this was one of the most difficult decisions that I had to make and I was lucky enough it worked well for me. I still have to deal with the challenges of trying to lose weight, but surgery made things easier "or even possible!" for me..
