I've been on glucophage XR for about a month and a half now. I just got up to my drs recommended full dosage which is 1500 mg daily. I'm so completely frusterated! I can tell a HUGE difference in my appetite. I eat maybe 1/4 of what I used to eat, which is great, but I haven't lost a single pound yet! How long does it take?? anyone have any suggestions on how to speed up the process? I read on IVF.com that the XR version is associated with less weight loss than the regular stuff. Is that true? Should I show that to my dr? Also, I have a TON of heartburn. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix that? Also, my sex drive is almost nonexistant now - poor husband :( Anyone else have that problem or is it just because i'm so depressed that this stuff isn't doing any good?? Please help, i'm losing my mind :(

I have no information on Glucophage--but I suggest that you ask your doctor about it. He or she ought to have some information. Isn't it taken for high blood sugar?
