Default can fat be sore?

ok i know this is a weird question but....
ive gained alot of weight recently and i basically havent done any physical activity besides the basic housework and normal day to day stuff in like a year. Everytime like my hubby jokingly slaps my bum or like i get touched in any way that puts pressure on me it hurts, this is just recent. its almost like my fat hurts....it sounds crazy but its true, it never felt like this until the last few months, its mostly on my legs and arms. things that never hurt before suddenly im super sensative to....i was just wondering if anyone else has this problem or has heard of someone having it?
thanks!

Well, I used to have this ENORMOUS lump of fat that sat on the top of my butt (it's still there but much smaller) and when I laid on my back, it really hurt! I don't know if it's the same thing, but I always wondered why it would hurt. It doesn't hurt now. I can lay on my back on the concrete and it doesn't hurt. Maybe it's the fat smashing up hard against nerve endings or something

I am not sure about fat but with all the new bbones that seem to be coming out and making an appearance, hip bones, rib cage, etc. They do feel a little more sensitive. Joey thinks it is cause they have been covered up for so long.

This is a very good question. Before I started losing weight this was happening to me. It seemed liked every fatty area I had was extra sensitive. My doctor dx me with fibromyalga sp? but since I have lost the majority of my weight it seems to have gone away. So I know it wasn't that. I would love to know the real cause.

YES!!!!

ESPECIALLY poking..on my upper arms and outer thighs. It hurts for an ungodly long time too. It seems to keep escalating afterwards, gets worse and worse for several seconds before it finally starts to go away.

Is that what you mean?

Harpo- I could have written your post! I have a lump of fat above my butt too and it used to hurt so bad when I would lay flat on my back in yoga classes. It is definitely getting better. I always wonder how much of it will be gone when I reach goal.

Yes indeedy, it hurts the worst on the back of my thighs and arms and lingers for a long time after I run into something or when the cat pounces me there. haha
