My Virtual Model

Who all has done the virtual model thing? I finally found one that would go up to my weight for my height. It's so much fun!

My Virtual Model.com

Anyway, I made three different versions of "myself" at my start weight, my first goal weight, and my way-long-term goal weight. Yay!

Would anyone else like to share theirs?

I think that is a great idea. It really shows you the difference that you don't normally see on your self.
I will give it a try.....

Attachment 24138 210 Start
Attachment 24139 135 Now
Attachment 24140 120 New Goal

Tisha___ 11-21-2006 11:30 AM

Soulmia, I had to just rightclick on the image and save it, then opened up Paint and pasted them all into one image together and saved that.

Sli, yours is a great transformation! Can I ask how tall you are?

Well, I feel like such a trendsetter! :)

Here are my sideviews: 272/156/136

It kind of looks like the evolution of wo-man.

Tisha___ 11-21-2006 03:02 PM

shrinkingchica I didn't formally thank you in my original post like I should have. :D

They do look like evolution pics, don't they? LOL
:lol3:

Rosario 11-21-2006 03:23 PM

Do all of your virtual models look pretty accurate???

Just wondering :)

Tisha___ 11-21-2006 03:25 PM

Well, I guess mine is pretty close (you can look at my progress pics linked in my signature to see for yourself) but she's a lot less flabby than me and has better skin. LOL

;)

Nikaia 11-21-2006 06:29 PM

I like those, except for one thing. Even when you select "medium-large" for breast size, they're still tiny. And some of us...are NOT. So whether the rest of the body is right for my size or not, it doesn't proportionally resemble me. Which is kind of annoying.

KnitALisa 11-21-2006 07:01 PM

Sigh.. I have the same "problem," Nikaia. I wish you could plug in your cup size or measurements for a more accurate model.

Tisha___ 11-21-2006 08:12 PM

I'm in the same boat, ladies. I'm a 40H in real life and those boobs are no where near that on the VM. LOL But oh well. The rest of the body is pretty close. And, I've seen teh cup size suggestion brought up on the suggestions forum on the MVM website.

So, maybe some day. :D

Nikaia 11-21-2006 08:14 PM

38F here... Although in about a year I'm not gonna be so big anymore. My dad - love my dad, love him! - decided to help motivate me to lose weight. So he told me he'd pay for my breast reduction surgery (which I've wanted for years) once I reach my goal weight. Hopefully this summer. Whee!

I hope MVM adds that feature. We don't ALL look like curveless fashion models, yannow? ;)

ennay 11-21-2006 10:10 PM

I think it looks amazingly like me except the boobs are way too small. Where is the ungodly huge boobs button? It looks like I might in 5 years when I treat myself to a reduction.

I cant get the image though, I dont get the save image option when I right click and the html code doesnt work

almostheaven 11-21-2006 10:18 PM

I had done one of these years ago, but had to update it.

Here's my model:
http://www.techtrek.com/Hold/AlmostH...l%20Before.jpghttp://www.techtrek.com/Hold/AlmostH...odel%20Now.jpg

And here's me:
http://www.techtrek.com/Hold/AlmostH...0&%20After.jpg

I haven't lost all the baby weight yet. I was 140 in that real after picture and 145 on the model currently.

almostheaven 11-21-2006 10:23 PM

That site will let you go up to 310 pounds. I was between 250 and 260 there. But the model, at 250, looks nothing like my shape. I was much larger looking. I tried the model at 310 and the size/shape of it doesn't change at all from 250. They need to tweek their program.

callystia 11-22-2006 02:26 AM

Holy Toledo, what an eye-opener! Looks quite a bit like me, too. :D

http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p...reandafter.jpg

This is me, going from 238 to 140.

Sunnigummi 11-22-2006 09:27 AM

My turn! The before doesn't look a lot like me. I think I have bigger hips (43" - that model's is probably much less).
http://home.mvm.com/compositor?v=4&i...75F60648C816BA ~165 http://home.mvm.com/compositor?v=4&i...46FE001004E369 ~130

Hmmm...I agree with the others that they need to tweak their program. I'm not seeing much of a difference here.

shrinkingchica 11-22-2006 04:04 PM

Tisha--- oh, I'm sorry if I came off as an *** in that post, no need to thank, it is a public site and I learned of it from someone here a year or so ago! :)
So, we are just passing the news along lol. :)

As for it looking like me: well, I actually have tiny boobs (so, I am actually getting a bigger boob job--and lift!). And also, when I was bigger I had a double tummy and that unsightliness is not there.

Actually, overall, that is one tight and firm heavier model!! She has nice upper arms a big--but flat--tummy and great skin......no flab in sight! I wish, lol.

Tisha___ 11-22-2006 04:08 PM

No, no, no. That's not what I meant. LOL I just meant that I meant to thank you, but forgot. :p

blackout 11-23-2006 01:12 AM

I never really have a good perception of my size, so I really like sites like this.

And all I have to say is... HOLY CRAP!! I knew I was fat, but wow. That was quite the eye-opener, and probably just the motivation I needed :) Just before the most challenging day of the year, diet-wise! Should be interesting. Thanks for the link!

HarpoChicoGroucho 11-23-2006 09:05 AM

My "before" VM is missing her double spare tires and the "current" one is missing her deflated double spare tires. And they're both missing my hunk of fat that sits on top of my butt and the new VM is missing the 6 inches of hanging arm skin! I'm not going to post them, because neither of them look anything like my body. But if I get extensive reconstructive surgery (which I plan to do), I CAN look more like the VM!! :carrot:

callystia 11-23-2006 09:14 AM

Hm. It begins to sound like "virtual" models aren't any better representation of actual everyday women than real, live ones are!

Trixie14 11-23-2006 02:00 PM

Here is mine! :smug: 240 - 150, I even did one with an outfit on.

callystia 11-23-2006 03:30 PM

Hmm...there seems to be a glitch. Out of curiosity, I put in the highest weight allowable--I think it's 310? And there's not a lick of difference according to that site, between how I would have looked then, and how I would've looked at 250. I don't know if there's just a limit to how many times you can change the number and have it regenerate the graphic, or if there's a problem with my using Firefox instead of IE, but it was a little weird. I'm pretty sure 60 pounds would make at least some difference. *scratches head*

No, you are absolutely right, there is no difference. I don't get it either. I really don't know what that is all about.

almostheaven 11-23-2006 10:13 PM

You should try a model at 4' 10" or less and 310 pounds. She looks just like a 5' 4", 250 pound model. They REALLY need to work on that.

Beach Patrol 11-25-2006 10:02 AM

Darn it. The page is not working for me. Everytime I try to "create" my model, I get nothing but those little red x marks & broken squares where a pic ought to be. It won't even let me sign in or anything. Waaaaahhhh.

juliebee 11-25-2006 04:51 PM

Haha that is so cool. They have a program at my gym that shows you kind of a before and after that looks like this. It's good inspiration.

2Bthinagain 11-25-2006 09:37 PM

This thread has me cracking up! I love the website for the VM but doesn't look like me either. Same reasons, my boobs are off the charts, and those thighs don't show dimples ..and how come on the AFTER at the 135-140, when I was that thin, I never FELT that thin! If I ever make it there, I vow to never ever ever complain about it!!!! ;)

pandaz06 11-26-2006 11:18 PM

That site is so cool. It kept giving me a session sign out thing so I couldn't save my images after messing around with it. Maybe tomorrow I can get them. It looked sorta like me, stomach needed to stick out a lil bit more though.

HarpoChicoGroucho 11-27-2006 09:25 AM

They need to put a advanced version on there -- they need to let you be able to add cellulite, back fat, spare tires, saggy boobs, muffin tops . . . then it would be better reality. But I know some people gain weight nicely & evenly and do look like that after they lose!
