Hey sometimes not knowing is the biggest problem. Step on the monster machine, get your weight... and then put the machine in the broom closet. That's where i put it....and then let it resurface after the 1st 2 weeks.... that way, you don't weigh and you don't sob:D
ok now me's off to the gym:carrot: :carrot: :carrot:
I have strength training and a 30 minutes cardio session to tackle today :strong::exercise:
sigh.... hopefully i'll go from :sumo: to :belly:

Haha, thank you for the help. I finally conquered my demon. Luckily (or not so luckily?) it turned out to be what I expected. So I have 35 pounds to lose. So at a pound a week, I'll be at my goal by July. And that's just a pound a week. As long as I'm happier by summer, that's all I ask!
Hope your work out went well. I bet you'll feel like a million bucks when you get home. Nothing like that post-cardio high!

I'm telling you - parts of me that I didn't know existed are aching:faint: :tired:
i did my one hour of strength training and lifted weights!:wl:
Yesterday, I did something stupid:o I did stomach crunches/sit ups and toe ouching....and I woke up with a stiff back now:mad:
But I think I'll go down to the gym this evening and do my 30 minutes of :woops: :D
That way, I'll feel better about what I put into my body today:D
I'm going for a Subway salad lunch today :hun: :drool: They have these salads with less than 6gms fat/salad :crazy:
I'l have the grilled chicken breast :drool:
oh lordy...the day I'm looking forward to a salad is the cold day in **** that people talk about!!:rofl:

I had cheesecake tonight. And it was drizzled with chocolate syrup.

:stress: It had been a badbad day, so my friends and I went out to de-stress. Blargh.

So, I've never been to a gym before. I always ran outside. But now I'm looking at some beginner-friendly gyms.. eek. Scary.

Trans: congratulations for biting the bullet and stepping on that scale. It's a tough thing to do, believe me, when I had my first meeting at weight watchers, I was absolutely disgusted at the number I saw. However, it was exactly the motovation I needed to get my butt into gear, fast forward 7 weeks and I've lost 20 lbs. already.

If I can do this, you can too, believe me. We'll all be here whenever you need to rant, vent, get excited, or just want to talk.

don't worry. everyone has their stressful days. I can bet you that when i get back from "Rice land" (that's what I call Shanghai) you will be the one de-stressing me!:D I've already freaked out looking at my measurements!! Check out my signature! :yikes:
Yesterday coz I didn't do the 1 hour cardio session I planned to do, I did 15 minutes and went a bit overboard with the situps/abcruncher :no: I'm tellin you - THAT is a :nono: Parts of my body that i did not know existed are hurting:stars:
But I went for my strength training session this morning and I did 30 minutes of cardio this evening:woohoo:
So, you've eaten the cheesecake - so what?! Just get back on the beach NOW. Not tomorrow. NOW.
I am kicking some butt :kickbutt: :D
