In the beginning....
I weigh 210lbs. This is pretty much the heaviest I have ever weighed. I've been this weight before and lost it. My lowest weight was 165lbs. Of course, i was less than this as a school kid but I don't count that!!! So, I'm starting again.
My plan of attack: WATP Treadmill Hand Weights Goal is 150lbs. That is 60lbs. At 1 lb a week, which to me seems doable, that's 60 weeks or just over a year. I know it can take shorter than that but I'd like to stick to realistic goals and surprise myself. I would like to do my WATP 2x a week, get on the treadmill 3 times a week and do at least a mile. Hand Weights, I'd like to do those at least 2x/week. Mini Goal will be in increments of one month, or should they be sooner? And I'd like to do 5 lbs a month. I'm 30 years old, unemployed, and used to a very slow sedentary lifestyle which includes lots of crafting time and movie time. this will be interesting. |
Welcome, Trish :welcome3:
Your exercise plan sounds very doable :) Have you thought about a nutrition plan? Mel |
Mel,
well.......that's the harder part. I eat out ALOT! I skip meals ALOT! I use convenience foods cuz I have no money. I also tend to become a bit obsessive over food when trying to count calories/points/fat/etc. Like, eating disorder obsessive. So, I am going to focus on my workouts for now. When I lost all my weight before, I didn't change my eating at all. I figure, one thing at a time! |
