Today, let's think of just one thing that we are grateful for in our lives... I am grateful to live in a country that the majority of it's citizens loves and cares for one another...

B: 6oz low carb/low cal yogurt, 1 med apple, 6 strawberries (200cal)

S: 10 almonds (60cal)

L: lean cuisine salmon w. vegies, w.w. pasta, (240cal)

S: 1 very sm plum (25cal)

D: fish, steemed vegies w. spray butter and light parm cheese (225cal)

S: light rye chrisp crackers w. laughing cow light cheese, 2T s.f jelly (150cal)

Workout: I went to the gym and did a spin class on Sat, and did a kickboxing and yoga class yesterday. I am giving myself the day off! I may go for a walk after dinner if it does rain this evening...

I had a bumpy weekend food-wise, so I'm going even stricter to get back on track. For the next 4 days (don't want to do it too long and feel completely deprived), I will only eat things that grow (with the exception of salad dressings ;) ). Today is shaping up as such:
  • banana
  • plum
  • salad (baby spinach, sliced strawberries, and chopped pecans with a light Asian soy sesame ginger dressing)
  • salad (romaine lettuce, dried cranberries, sliced almonds, dressing TBD)
  • possibly a cup of 100% organic roasted red pepper and tomato soup
I'm working on liter #3 of water so far (plus a can of Coke Zero...probably another can this evening as well).

Oh, and to go along with yogachick's "thankfulness" theme: I am thankful to live in such a place, time, and lifestyle that I have a CHOICE as to what I put in my mouth. I am not starved nor deprived, and I have an abundance of options that are affordable and readily available. There are many people and places around thw world who do not have such a luxury.
