This really helps

  • I just thought I'd give a little advice to you all. I want tell you what helps me stay on track and committed to my diet. Contract. I know it may sound a little cheesy, but it really does help. I wrote (typed) out a contract to myself and personally signed it and everything. I even put this on the bottom of the contract

    "I agree and understand that this is a legal and tender binding and not to be broken. I also understand that I must submit in whole to this bond for a lifetime."

    LoL. You'll be surprised how much it helps you to stay committed. Just read it once a week or when you feel like binging or overeating or to remind yourself.

    Just give it a try. Type or write out a promise contract to yourself. At the beginning put I, STATE YOUR NAME, on the sixteenth day of August two thousand and six, herby.....

    Read it once every week or whenever it's needed. I don't recommend that you place it somewhere where you'll see it everyday because eventually you'll just get tired of looking at it and won't read it all. So put it away in a folder on your computer, or in a notebook if you wrote it out.

    It really helps me and I believe it'll help you too.

  • Hey, that's a smart way to get commited to diet. I always told others that a strong will is all it takes. But I think from now on I'll add a CONTRACT.
