That's great about your NSVs. :) I'm down 2 lbs!!! Decided not to care about the scale giving me a weight 2 lbs lower than what it actually is. I'll just make my goal 143 when I get down to the 140s. Right now, it seems like too much to take on to get to 143. |
Good morning all you sexy chickies! (Can't tell I'm pumped, can you?) My scale is showing a 3.6 pound loss for the week -- I'll take it! :dance: I kept my committment to exercise and did 20 minutes of Turbo Jam cardio and that killer 40 minute Turbo Sculpt -- boy are my arms and thighs going to be looking good next summer!
I have off today -- another slow week, work-wise -- so it's back down to the dungeon (quilting room) for me. Made some good progress yesterday! Hope everyone checks in today -- let's keep this thread rockin'!! August exercise goal: 340/500 |

Anyone still with me? Hope everyone had a good start to the week. Please don't let this thread die. I have been part of quite of few threads that everyone seems to loose their steam and just give up. I decided yesterday to "Start Over". I have refocused on my eating and I also sat down and printed off some calendar pages and set some personal goals from now until the end of the year. Well so far so good. I kinda feel refreshed. Maybe its just a mind thing but I feel more on track then I have been in the last month and a half. So with that being said. Now that I'm back in the right mind frame, I still need the support of all of you to keep me going. Hope to talk to you all later! |

I *really* didn't feel like exercising today but I kept my committment to myself and pushed play ... did the 40 minute TJ Cardio Party workout. Still feeling like I have two left feet but I'm making it all the way through ... no rest stops. Progress is managed in small steps! Today I'm going to the DMV to get my driver's license put into my married name so it will match all my other documents. Never mind I've been divorced for 15 years lol it will make travel so much easier. For a little while I thought I wasn't going to be able to rent a car my last trip ... the person waiting on me couldn't seem to grasp the concept of maiden name, married name ... a male, of course, HE doesn't ever have to cope with changing names ... anyway, I finally got certified copies of my birth certificate AND marriage license, tasks I detest doing. So today I'm using the old "eat that frog" mentality and getting it out of the way! Hope everyone is having a good day and that y'all will check in here. Personal Exercise Goal for August: 380/500 |
Awwww I check in here all the time (I'm subscribed to this thread) but I don't see any responses so I don't write much. I, too, thought this thread was dying a slow death, which is sad because I really like the chicas on here. :)
Felt SOOO good yesterday after working out at the gym. Thought I looked slimmer - haha. :) I love how those endorphins play tricks on my mind. Another day (hopefully) of eating good food and working my body. |

Need a little will power today. Today at work we're having a pot luck. There is a ton of food, I just need to make smart decisions. I had a slimfast for breakfast and I am going to try really hard to stick within my calories for the day. Wish me luck. Stupid pot lucks!!!! |
Can I start in this challenge late ? I am new here and would love to have the extra motivation . Do I simply make another ticker and add it to this the same way ? thanks in advance for the help :]

Hey everyone. I've been doing winsor pilates for about a week now and I just LOVE IT!!! So cool and I already see results. The best part is it's only 20 minutes!!! Hope everyone is doing well. I've been here. I didn't move....You guys did. I thought the old thread just died. I was subscribed to it and saw no new posts for days so I just didn't go there. Geuss I should have and saw the new thread post. I'm a dork. Sorry. Its nice to see everyone! I missed you!! I had a crappy week last week. TOM was BRUTAL. I mean worst I've had since DS#2 birth. I was physically ill a couple of times. BUT all is well now. This week has been right back on track. I'll weigh tomorrow as TOM departed just two days ago. Overstayed his welcome.

Hey Stevi - hope you're feeling better! My TOMs used to be like that EVERY month for the first day for at least 4-5 years. It was a PITA to be honest. I had to take the day off and I couldn't concentrate on anything because of the bathroom runs and the pain. Sux. Personally, those symptoms disappear when I exercise. Hmm. Must be my body's punishment for me being lazy. hehe. :) Good to see you back here again!
So, there was a big fire where I work and roads are closed. Good thing I didn't go in huh? :devil: Took a walk with my mom - it was GREAT since the weather was cool - barely broke a sweat and we walked 6 miles! Go me (and my mom)! Whoot! :D |

So glad it is Friday. It has been a really long week at work. Not all that stressful just seemed long. Tomorrow is my 11 year wedding anniversary, should be a pretty good weekend. My parents are keeping my daughter for the weekend so hubby and I can have some time for ourselves. Stevi-Glad you found us. I had seen you post in some other areas, had I known you didn't know where we were I would have said something. Anyways glad you're back. Sunni-WOW! That's a lot of walking. Good for you and your mom. You girls doing anything excititing this weekend. |
