I wonder if it's possible your calorie intake for the day may not be enough and that is what is happening, why you are so hungry at night?
My first 2 weeks I was very hungry at night but I upped my calories about another 200 per day and now i don't have that prob. If I am hungry at night I eat an apple or 1 piece of bread with peanut butter. For me that helps. Sometimes I work out at night so after that I feel famished!!! An apple usually helps because it is a bit heavier than something like salad.
