I cannot stand to have my belly or thighs touched by my husband, pregnancy and weight gain and made them into lose skin, stetch marks and flab. I will be having the surgery, even if I have to get a second job. I read your post and wanted to cry. Only someone going through it would ever understand.

One of the mother's in my daycare just had the surgery. Her belly looks great. She had to have a new belly button constructed, but hay...small price. Although, my mother did give me this belly button...unfortunately, she gave the butt, thighs and everything else, accept the breast!

I like that quote. It reminds me of my new motto..aim for progress, not perfection.

I like your new motto! I think "Progress, Not Perfection" is the way to approach this process, IMHO.
