Default Plan for the week

After a much longed debate as to whether I should follow the 7 day diet I have decided not to. I feel that I would be happier if I maintained the weight loss, therefore doing it in a normal way.

I have planned my week out. I am going to stick to it religiously and hopefully it will result in a loss. I think i need the result of loss at the end of the week to bring my motivation back.

Getting motivation from the scale can be tough, because sometimes you can exercise and eat according to plan and the scale still doesn't go down. Make goals and then reward yourself. Make your goals related to long term health, even if the scale doesn't go down, you can be motivated by the thought you are doing excellent things for your body. Goals like:

* Eating 5+ servings of vegetables every day
* Trying 2 new healthy recipes per week
* Go to bed on time at least 4 nights a week
* Exercise at least 3 times a week
* No bad fast food for 1 week

I do most, if not all of those things. The only one I'm a bit deprived of is the 5 servings of vegetables a day, I tend to eat a lot more fruit than vegetables. I have a bad habbit of skipping lunch too during the week. Are there any suggestions as to quick and easy lunches that can be prepared within minutes before a days work?

I have ordered a muscle working DVD today, so hopefully within a few weeks I will notice a difference within the inches. What I have decided to do is cardio for 3 days of the week, muscle working for 3 days of the week and then have one day as a rest day.

Sounds like a plan, I just got to make sure I stick to it now!
