I do the same with cleaning, it can wait til the weekend. Besides that is when I need the workout from it the most ;)
I have got to say tha I thought Flylady was a great idea and I signed up, but immediately cancelled because they send you at least 20 emails per day, and frankly, if I spend 2 hours reading emails, I am neglecting what I should be doing anyway. I also found that half the stuff just was not me. But hey I know a lot of folks that found it to work for them so I won't knock it. Just not for me lol. |

Not to get too offtopic here, but I followed the link to FlyLady and signed up (hey, it couldn't hurt!). But here I am on day 2 of the beginner steps and it says "get dressed to lace up shoes". What does that mean? I kind of get the gist of it, that you should treat every day as special and prepare as such, but I've never come across that phrase before.
Is it some sort of local colloquialism that has somehow elluded me? Just curious! |
I have no idea what the phrase means either. :) But when Brenda said she got 20 emails a day that was enough to convince ME not to sign up.

It's remarkable how much the rest of my family DON'T help take up the slack when the place gets awful due to how tired I get-- and I do get tired easy on 1300 calories per day! |

I like FlyLady and a lot of her concepts, but I must admit that I have to take her in small doses. I will subscribe for a while, read what I need and delete the rest, and then unsubscribe for a while. She has some great ideas and it is a great motivator, but sometimes it can be a bit much. |
